Explore your drawing information more efficiently.

Filter by type of entities or attribute content, layer, or any property of CAD entities.

You can create a clone of a selected object using your information for launching the CAD order.

Select objects and copy them to the clipboard for a place in another drawing, or delete these objects.

Explore

When clicking on the Explore button, the program gets all the entities and puts them in a list order by entity type and other characteristics.

You can use the columns to filter the information and can get an object selection, for example in the next image.

At the bottom of the form, you can see the number of entities included in the file, the number of filtered entities, and the number of selected objects.

The control bar can hide or unhide when clicking in the green area.

The different buttons in the control explorer form will be hidden or unhidden depending on the filter, selection, or other processes and also depending on the license type.

You can use the free license of ApliCAD DWGExplorer anytime, only need to register an email for your user

Select from list

DWGExplorer select
If you use the filters included in Explorer, or you can select one or more objects in the list, with this button, select the objects in the drawing.

You can use the selected objects for copying, deleting, or other commands in your CAD program.

Copy to clipboard

DWGExplorer copy selected objects
When this button is available, you can click and all selected objects, and copy them to the clipboard for use in other drawings or any action from the clipboard.

Delete selected objects

DWGExplorer delete selected objects
When this button is available, you can click and the program will show you information about the number of objects that will be erased from the drawing.

If any of these objects are in a locked layer, the end of the process shows you information about the number of objects not deleted.

Zoom into the previous object

Use this button to zoom into the other entity in the list, in this case, the previous one.

Zoom into selected objects

This button zooms into all selected entities in the list, and you can see the objects and the area used for these objects in the drawing.

Zoom into the next object

DWGExplorer show the next object
Use this button to zoom into the other entity in the list, in this case, the previous one.

Reload the drawing information

DWGExplorer reload the objects in list
This button generates again the analysis in the drawing and renews all information. Use this when the drawing is changed for introducing new objects.

Professional License

Show Attribute information

DWGExplorer load the blobk atributes in list
If the drawing has blocks with attributes, this button shows the attributes and appears in the entities list. You can filter using new information like the Id of an attribute or the value.

Export selected objects to Excel File

Export the filtered entities to Excel using the same columns shown at this moment. Before using this button, you can check the columns selector, and change the order for obtaining a better result.

Show the attribute for the block selected

If you have selected only one row in the list and this is for an attribute or block with attributes, this button shows you the values of all attributes of these blocks.

Clone Object

DWGExplorer clone the selected object
If you have selected only one row in the list, this button is activated, and launch the CAD order to create the same entity. For example, if you selected a line, launch the line order with the same layer and other characteristics.
