Introduction to DWGExplorer

DWGExplorer is a tool designed to make it easier to analyze, explore and manage the information contained in CAD drawings, giving users fast, structured access to the objects and data in the model.

The program provides a tabular view of the drawing’s elements, which makes searching, filtering and selecting very quick. With this view, users can locate specific objects, analyze their associated information and act on them far more efficiently than with the traditional ways of working inside the drawing.

In addition to its model exploration features, DWGExplorer includes tools to integrate geographic and cartographic information, working with WMS services, SHP files and GML files. This makes it easy to bring in data from external sources such as official mapping, orthophotos or cadastral information and integrate it directly into the CAD environment.

The system also includes utilities aimed at improving user productivity, such as quickly searching for DWG files within a folder structure, recording the time spent on each document and generating reports that can be exported to Excel, so you can analyze the time dedicated to each project and support financial management or planning.

DWGExplorer is available as a plugin for the leading CAD platforms on the market: AutoCAD, ZWCAD and BricsCAD. This compatibility lets you use its features directly in your usual working environment, without switching applications or changing your existing workflows.
